Our group interviewed Mrs. Pinky Ramos. She is currently our teacher in ECEDSED.

1. Why did you choose to be a teacher?

"It wasn't my first choice, but after I got married I got frustrated with how a teacher dealt with my son. I took up education units after that."

2. Given an opportunity, would you change your profession?

 "I like my profession. It's not confined in a classroom only, there's an advocacy where you protect rights of children and parents through seminars, programs to improve lives. No, I will not change my profession."

3. What have you learned about people in teaching?

"Young children- I learn much from them, from their responses, thoughts, and about life. Also the same from their parents. There is also validation of theories, education is dynamic, and that teaching is a two-way process. Passion is essential, and teaching is not just an income- generating job; it needs dedication."

4. What do you dislike about teaching?

"Preparation of materials takes long, checking of papers, 24 hour job, schedule- time, parents complaining are a challenge."
